*** UPDATE: Our newest challenge encourages drinking half your body weight in ounces. One Gallon is 128oz. If you are over 200lbs or very active, drinking a gallon is very achievable. For those who are less active and lower in weight, aim to drink half your body weight in ounces.

What happens when you drink a gallon of water for 30 days?

First, let me begin by saying that water intake needs to be increased in slow increments and sipped throughout the day. If you consume too much water at one time, it can alter your electrolytes and cause serious health damage.

With that said, the majority of people are dehydrated. They drink caffeinated drinks that act as a diuretic to your system (it promotes urination). Drinks such as coffee, tea, soda and energy drinks are all diuretics that don’t get absorbed in your cells like consuming simple, clean water. Why is water important? Firstly, water makes up approximately 60% of our body. It is important for circulation, digestion and regulating body temperature. Not only does it decrease headaches and eliminates toxins, but it also improves your energy and overall mood.

How can you tell you’re dehydrated? Your urine should not have much color, in fact, your urine should resemble lemon juice (or clearer). If your skin is dry and inelastic, if you have more headaches and if you deal with constipation, then these are all signs you need to drink more water. Often times, people think they are hungry (and eat) when they are really just thirsty. Not only do studies show that even one glass will shut down hunger pain, but it is the number one reason behind daily fatigue.

According to the New England Journal of Medicine, drinking just five glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, breast cancer by 70% and bladder cancer by 50%! While the results of consuming this relatively available commodity (water) is astounding, 75% of Americans are severely dehydrated. So how much should you drink? You should rink 8-10 glasses per day, more if you are overweight and even more when you are active. This is why I chose to challenge people to drink ONE gallon a day. I knew that if I can drink a gallon of water a day at my weight, height, age and activity level, then most people (esp those who are overweight) can do it too!

Bring on the 30 day No Excuse Water Challenge. I challenged followers to drink one gallon of water a day. Changing their diet or exercise routine was not required. They can still drink other fluids in the form of black coffee or unsweetened tea. Lastly, they can enjoy their favorite caloric beverages on their planned treat days. Of course, it took some time for everyone to adjust to this new challenge and while some struggled a bit, most people experienced positive results by the end of the 30 days.

Few things to consider: When beginning the challenge, many people felt increased weight gain. Their body was in shock mode and began retaining water because it wasn’t used to being fed a surplus of water. Others also experienced acne. You must remember that your body is in detox mode and a lot of toxins are being pushed out of your body! Lastly, people weren’t prepared to go to the bathroom more regularly. In my world, I use the restroom nearly every hour. So be prepared to go through some stages before finding positive results in this No Excuse Water Challenge.

Here are some personal stories of our #noexcusewaterchallenge participants.

I did what was recommended, I’m addicted to Starbucks fraps but I just drank (at least) a gallon a day of water. No juice, coffee, soda…basically nothing but (fruit infused) water and/or herbal tea for 30 days. I struggled to finish an entire gallon at first but now I’m drinking 1.5-2 gallons a day. I didn’t change my diet (much…) and I didn’t add any physical activity. I’m a stay at home mom with a 1 year old and a 2 year old so all my exercise right now consists of chasing my girls around the house! While I didn’t lose actual pounds and still have some acne from stress, my eczema has gotten a little better and I don’t crave sweets as much.

I saw the most difference in my dark circles. Which I’ve ALWAYS had! I find I’m using less concealer 😉 BUT I did have 2 changes in the last month that you cant see on a photo. Firstly, I was born with a congenital leftover on my bowels that wasn’t discovered and removed until I was 16. So I’ve had issues with my digestive tract basically my whole life. The last 2 weeks I’ve been more regular than I EVER have been before!!! Who knew digesting could be so exciting! Hehe! Secondly, I broke my plateau!!! I’ve been stuck for MONTHS and it was rather frustrating! I’ve lost 4 lbs in the last month by drinking a gallon a day! Now I’m going to be honest… I cheated 1 time… I had a can of Coke. I was pms’ing… But other than that one slip up, I didn’t drink anything but good ol’ water and some English breakfast tea (my favorite). And the funny thing is I don’t even miss all the juices and sodas…

I turned 31 earlier this year and found myself easily consuming two or three 20oz sodas per day (or more, unfortunately) with NO WATER, not even a drop. My addiction to soda left me feeling bloated, lethargic, always thirsty, and resulted in excessive sweating and sugar rushes which interfered with my daily life. And yes, it is an addiction. When I didn’t have a soda, I experienced headaches which I always knew would be cured with a dose of sugar and caffiene, making soda not just a beverage but a medicine to me. It’s just gross to think about now!

After participating in the water challenge, I have averaged 80oz or more per day. I may not have met the full gallon mark every single day, but using a water tracker app on my phone, I always targeted myself for 128oz. My water bottle is now my trusty companion no matter where I go! I no longer stress about getting dry spots on my face and I have found my entire body has more hydrated skin. I have healthier digestion and bowel movements and I also became accustomed to the many, many bathroom breaks with so much water in my system! I also don’t experience the dark circles, redness, blotchy spots or overall tired lines on my face as badly as I did.

I have a red 27 oz water bottle I received for free as a trial product from one of our vendor. I drink at least 7-8 of those a day from 6 am to 11:30 pm. The first week I was running to the bathroom every 20-30 minutes. After the first week I can stretch my bathroom break to at least an hour or hour and a half. I noticed my skin cleared up and I eventually stopped wearing my bb cream. Two weeks into it, my appetite decreased. I also didn’t feel the urge to snack after 8pm. My chronic back, hips and joint pain decreased (I’ve seen a chiropractor for 5 years). My bath water is clearer (weird but had to be said!) I also used to drink coffee religiously every morning but now I don’t need it. I’m more alert throughout the day!

I am a mom of 4 boys. My oldest is 10, like Maria Kang, my younger boys were all about a year apart, born in 2009, 2010, and 2011. I have been wanting to get in shape for a long time, it’s hard. Sometimes I do really good, but other times life gets in the way and everything else becomes a priority except me. I’m sure many moms can relate. We keep everything from falling apart except ourselves, until one day we look up and wonder how we let ourselves get like that? I’m an immigrant from Mexico and well being skinny doesn’t really run in our culture for the most part, as Mexican food is very tasty but also very unhealthy. After drinking water for 30 days I surprisingly lost 3lbs! I have less headaches and bloating. I have better digestion and younger looking skin. I also saved a lot of money! I stopped ordering drinks at restaurants and kicked my Peach Snapple habit! Lastly, this challenge has rubbed off on my husband, who now drinks water regularly with me!

Before starting this challenge, I never drank that much water. I would mostly drink 2 cups of coffee daily, a cup of milk, and 2 cups of water max (no wonder my lips were always dry). Add to that some Starbucks drinks that I love, such as Vanilla latte and the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappucino that I consume once or twice per week. I also have the worse under eye bags. They are so dark that I always have to cover them with concealer all the time, everyday, because they are so embarassing. My face also always looked dull. I would never go out without make up, even to the gym.
The first few days of this challenge was tough. I never reached a gallon, and sometimes I felt sick. Then my husband told me to do it slowly. Increase bit by bit per day, and eventually, by the second week, I could drink up to a gallon of water. I infused my water with lime, so it felt refreshing. Exercising helped as well because it got me super thirsty. I am now actually used to drinking a gallon of water per day. When I drink less water, my lips get dry again. After 30 days of water I have less under eye circles, my face has brightened, I have less menstrual cramps, I lose 8lbs, I spend less money and my husband has followed suit!

I didn’t realize I was actually dehydrated before I started this challenge. I had crinkles and dark circles under my eyes, more oily skin, colored/stinky urine, and more cravings!! I weigh 330 lbs at the moment, and I’m a big girl. After this challenge, I realized 1 gallon a day should be the norm, because I only feel normal if I drink that much!

    Does it hurt to mix Crystal Light with your water? I have a much easier time drinking large amounts of water if I’m drinking it with Crystal Light, rather than without. Just wondering if I’m hurting myself in doing so?

    • Crystal Light uses artificial sugars. I, personally, stay away from fake sugars and would suggest you infuse your water with natural fruits, veggies, lime, lemon or mint. It’s a habit…

      They do actually have a new one called pure fitness that doesn’t have artificial sweeteners. It’s sweetened with stevia. Still not as good as real fruits, but a better option than regular.
      I recently started putting lemon and orange essential oils in my water. It is helping with my acne and cellulite as well. Just a thought 🙂

      totally fine. water is water. If you drank a gallon of water and then ate 2 crystal light packs, you’d still be getting the water benefit, so what diff if you mix together before drinking? I do the same with other generic drink mixers. no problem.

    Thanks for the water challenge. I usually prefer water over soda, but coffee with flavored creamer was my weakness. This had helped me cut out coffee and drink more water. By the way, my name is misspelled above. It’s Bao and not Boa. 😉

    Does anyone use a water filter and if so what kind? I’m not a fan of plastic bottles water comes in. If I do drink bottled water it’s normally in glass such as aqua panna. Thoughts and suggestions please!

      A brita water filter (you put the water in the jug and it purifys it, they also have water bottles) , or the pur water filter that goes on the sink focet.

    Would it be insane to try this for 10 weeks ? I tried it before and lost 7 lbs before the summer started… So I def know it works. Could I do it longer than 30days?

      Yes you can do this for as long as you’d like. This much water isn’t harmful over a long period of time, it’s mostly beneficial

        I know this is old but please do not drink that much. I looked it up and that’s 7.5L of water. That’s too much, you’ll mess up the balance of sodium in your body. People have died from water intoxication. If you were doing a long haul marathon perhaps, and spaced the water out properly, it would be okay (maybe) but not every day.

          I went from not drinking very much water straight into the gallon challenge and I got a headache. I thought “this is silly. Water can’t give you a headache” turns out my sodium levels plummeted thus the headache. I know it sounds silly when it comes to drinking water, but be careful.

        You can drink that much i drink 2 to 3 a day just eat apples yogurt they are loaded with electrolytes you can google a list of different foods and if you are eating processed foods they are loaded with salt i have been doing this for over 20 years i drink water or hot green tea as long as your eating regularly water intake isn’t a problem also water only helps you loose weight for a little while for me i can’t loose weight with water alone my body is so use to it most people loose 10 to 20lbs just because of the other calories they are no longer drinking the best way to loose wait is exercise i have lost over 60lbs and eat whatever i want i exercise 1 hour everyday cardio cardio cardio don’t believe that 20 min 3 times a week crap that is for someone at there desired weight just wanting to maintain it or tone i run or cycle 1 hr everyday it is a lifestyle choice not a diet

      you are asking if you can drink water longer then 30 days? of course you can…this shouldnt even be called a challenge, it should be what you do normally. you are supposed to drink half your weight in ounces. if you weigh 160, you should be drinking at least 80 oz of water a day MINIMUM. sorry i just found your question kind of ridiculous. yes, yes yes do it every day, FOREVER

    • No alcohol outside of during your weekly treat meal.

      Try it! Although it is best to avoid alcohol, adding water even if you still drink alcohol will still benefit you. Just don’t count alcoholic drinks in your total – drink a gallon of pure water every day for 30 days. Would love to hear if you are successful with the challenge and what changes you notice.     • Those waters are fine as you need to replace your electrolytes, however, may I suggest coconut water?

    As many of the testimonials said. I was a 3 can monster energy drink during the work day. When I got home with in two hours I would have downed a pop. Infot sick of it and i decided to do 138.8,oz a day a bit over a gallon and I increase after 21 days. I guarantee if you consume at least an gallon at least 10+ lbs in water weight will fall off. Increase or but not too much (don’t want to drown your liver)…,two weeks I am down 14 I will easily hit my target of 19 more lbs who knew it was so easy to apply something like this to your daily route. I picked up some barbells so that I can tone up feels good to feel good about by yourself it also got contagious and lots of people are doing it at the office and getting major results.

    I started drinking a gallon a day three days ago and have gained five pounds. I haven’t changed diet or exercise although I find myself craving saltier food and feeling bloated all of the time. I want to continue, but will some of this subside? I really can’t afford any extra weight, even water weight Thanks!

      You are craving salt because consuming water like this causing a condition called “hyponatremia”. This condition can be deadly and the person recommending that people consume 1 gallon of water per day is being extremely negligent, cavalier, and opening herself up for many lawsuits. There is no measurable benefit to drinking water past one’s physiological threshold. It achieves NOTHING positive and can only harm. Please reconsider this dangerous “Challenge”.

        To be frank, you’d have to consume a lot more to actually suffer from hyponatremia. I’ve been on this “challenge” and also have preferred saltier things. Your body is just telling you “hey, you’re drinking lots of water, get some more salt and we’ll be good to go”. You’d literally have to not urinate and drink one gallon of water within an hour to suffer from hyponatremia. I’ve also tried this method as a suicide method and cut off all my salt intake. Trust me, it was fucking hard to even start to get symptoms. There’s nothing wrong with it as long as you don’t go crazy and do two gallons a day. Other then that, they’re in the safe zone.

  18. about two years ago, I was only eating fast food and drinking lots of soda and juices. Then I realize I wanted to loose weight, so I started drinking water all day long for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As time went on I start seeing a big different in my skin tone, my eyes, and my weight, I look better then ever. I thought that water only helps you loose weight I didn’t know it works for the skin too until my skin tone was brighter.

    I’m so glad I read this because I’m into my first week of my own challenge and I feel like I’m gaining weight! (I don’t have a scale) my face has been breaking out more and I had headaches in the beginning. Now I know it’s normal for the first week as your body gets used to the change. I was starting to get discouraged because I was eating well but was swelling. Whew! Looking forward to the next few weeks and what they will bring!

    You can buy natural lemon water in a bottle or case its called fruit 2′ 0. I drank it for a month straight , an hour of workouts a day & I ate lean cuisine. I lost a total of 23 pounds .

    I’m 14 years old I’m not fat or anything I had very dry skin and after the holidays few weeks I had more stomach flab haha
    (I know I’m 14 I shouldn’t care as much) so I dec to go back on my water clense and I’ve been drinking 1 gallon a day for a few days I can already see some changes like my lips done EVER get chapped anymore my dry skin isn’t as dry and I feel awake and have more energy through the day

    Everyone should calculate their water needs. Some people do need a gallon a day, some more and many less. If you are not overweight or living in the desert it is unlikely you need so much water. Nevertheless, many folks are dehydrated. To rehydrate it is important to determine your water requirements based on your weight, climate, and activity level. You will still have all the benefits without the risks.

    I have started today and if I can’t make a whole gallon can I build up to it by the third day?
    And I was wondering if it was normal for weight to be gained and acne to sprout. Is there any way to stop the acne though?

    • Hello Maria, you may get initial weight gain but that’s ok! Some people may get acne as you are flushing your body and you may perspire more. Just clean your face with soap meant for your facial skin. Best wishes! Maria

    I’m not a participant in this challenge, but I can 100% guarantee that drinking more water and cutting down on other beverages will cause weight loss.

    I started drinking more water last summer, because before then I was lucky to drink one glass of water a day, I hated it so much. But I heard how most Americans are dehydrated and desided that I needed to start drinking more. That summer, I binge ate more than ever and rarely exercised, so I was confused when I went to the doctor in the fall and found out that I had lost almost 15 pounds. I’d been 130-135 all through out high school and was for sure I that I had finally reached 140. But nope, I was 122.

    I didn’t understand what had happened until later on when I saw something online that said drinking water was a good weight loss method. If you want an easy and healthy way to loss weight, water is the best way to go. It’s hard at first, but the more you drink the harder it is to go without. I rarely drink soda anymore!

    I’ve been trying to become healthier for the longest time, and trying new ways to kickstart a healthy lifestyle. I’m 15 years old and starting track for the first time this year as a sophomore. Although I am not fat, I am not in great shape and I’m trying to get in better shape. One day my friend suggested that we do a water challenge so I agreed. I’m going to officially start on February 1st, but right now I am working my way up to drinking a gallon each day. It’s very fun and its hilarious having everyone at school asking me why I am drinking from a gallon jug. I hope this helps and that my body starts getting rid of the water weight because I’ve been feeling VERY bloated since I started this, but I’m very excited and hope to do this every day!

    I need caffeine in my diet our my heart rate gets extremely low. I quit soda once for 2 months and my resting heart rate went from upper 60s to upper 40s and I was not very athletic.

    I drink a preworkout and post workout supplement. Both of which I put into 12 ounces of water. If I pursued the gallon challenge, would these ounces of water count toward that daily intake of a gallon?

    Glad it worked for these ladies! As for me, I just became well acquainted with my bathroom….drank no soda, 1 cup of coffee per day and, of course, WATER!!!. Took before and after pic…absolutely no difference. Even started back to the gym in this time frame…Nada….I agree one needs to stay well hydrated, but be wary of miracle results….probably not gonna happen….well, off to the loo again!!

    I can’t wait until your next challenge. I started drinking over 1 gallon of water a day infused with fruits, cinnamon sticks, herbs over a year ago. My favorite is sliced apples, cinnamon sticks and fresh mint. I usually fill 2-3 gallons at a time and let them get infused for days. Tastes much better than plain water and is healthy for you. I haven’t been exercising as I used to in past years but I have not gained, either. Seeing this challenge surely has given me more motivation, knowing I am on the right track already.     four days ago I started trying to get 64oz of water a day but I have to use crystal light as I absolutely hate plain water, I have gained 4 lbs in 3 days. Will it eventually turn around and the scales go down instead of up? I used to consume 3-4 sodas a day I have only had 1 in 4 days. I have seen some break out on my face and constantly in the bathroom.

      Crystal Light has a lot of artificial sweeteners, which could be causing the weight gain. However, you are also likely to gain a bit of water weight at the beginning, so it could be that as well.

    I just want to say that I believe this. Drinking water has helped me lose weight and has changed my mood. I am a fulltime student as well as a Registered nurse with 4 children 12,9,4,1 and hubbie being the 5th child. I was feeling so depressed after our last child and my mood was not good. Recently I heard on the radio about drinking water so I picked up a Gallon and started drinking and let me just say I noticed the difference in 2 days. Other nurses at my job has been asking me what have I been doing because my face is slim and glowing. I stated drinking water. I am addicted to tea so instead of grabbing for a bottle I replaced it with water. I snack less as well. I have more energy than I ever had before. I will never go back to the old me. Water is my new friend.

    I’ve been drinking gallons of water recently & can feel the refreshing aura on the INSIDE of my body, even in the heat of the warehouse. Also, I am doing my job at an extra-rapid pace, without feeling tired & run-down. How can I ever stray away from this simple formula for good health ever again? I’m not trying to figure that out any time soon. 😀

  39. I have no problem leaving the sweets behind but I’m so use to coffee that if i don’t drink some in the morning i get a really bad headache through out the day. Can somebody tell me what to do so i could stop drinking coffee and just do this challenge without it ? Thanks

      I just drink my morning coffee black. Once you get used to it, you won’t want it any other way. I am only in my first week of the water challenge and have given up my afternoon cup of coffee. I just don’t want or need it right now.

    I live in Claremore ok and the water here is not the best but it will do for someone else who doesn’t care about drinking a lot a water a day ….I go in town to a place called hydration station and believe me it has the best taste of water I have ever drank … I compared the both and found that the hydration water goes down tour throat so much better and it’s easy to drink more of it……I used to drink bottle water….but not anymore …so what I’m saying to every one is get u a good water and it will go down and taste better for as long as u like…..I carry a gal jug of this hydration water where ever I go… if u can find water like I did it will make your challenge a whole lot better….the taste is the secret to consuming your daily amount .. try it. . .

    Slowly cut down the volume of your coffee intake each day, and beware of ingesting anything else containing caffeine.
    If you don’t want to go cold turkey, and suffer for a few days, be prepared to take a month to taper off from a long term caffeine addiction.

    I’m 50 yrs and all I drink is water since I can remember. I dont drink alcohol, sodas and coffee. I just drink nothing but water. If you try and guess my age you would definently be off by 20-25 years. No one who does not know my age ever have me more than 35 yrs old. Its true that water is the best thing all around for your health. I’m living proof on how water benefits you like nothing else.

    I’m diabetic I’m 32 I weigh 230lbs and I use to drink pop all day my a1c was 8.1 in April now there 6.1 in june it dropped alot because I drink 9 to 10 16.9 Oz bottles of water daily now I am trying to lose weight so I am gonna try no pop no bread no pasta no sugary snacks meat and veggies and fresh fruit and get back to walking I use to walk 6 miles a day any suggestions would love to know what anyone could suggest I’ve tryed diet pills and other diet stuff no success please any advice is appreciated

  48. I started drinking a gallon a day three days ago. About a week before that I had increased my water intake to about 75oz a day, but wasn’t quite to a gallon. I am feeling so much better overall! I’m regular (praise the Lord!), my skin is clearing up, I have more energy, and there are many other benefits as well! My coworkers are also drinking a gallon a day with me. (We joke about bathroom breaks now. Haha!) I can’t wait to see how staying hydrated will change my life in the long run!

    I’m 39 years old, 6 children ages 2 years to 29 years old and in healthy shape. I’ve had some medical procedures I’ve had to go through to include a CT scan with contrast over the past 9 months as well as medications. After realizing how much my body has gone through I bought 7 gallons of water and vowed to drink each one daily. I’m one that drinks barely 3 glasses of any fluid a week but I was determined to cleanse my system.I hadn’t looked up anything till now, 2 weeks later,simply because I looked in the mirror and noticed my facial appearance.I’m committed to doing a minimum of one gallon a day for life, and sometimes more. In 2 weeks I’ve lost the 8 pounds I couldn’t lose from an antidepressant I took 5 months ago for 2 months, lost a total of 5 inches from hips, waist & legs, my face always looked young but now its so much smoother, absolutely no wrinkles under the eyes or anything, my bowels are 100% regular and I feel more energy. I’ve also lost all sugar cravings, though crave salt occasionally but was drinking a lot of bottled water due to poor water quality in our area, so I just added a little more himalayan salt to my diet & overcame the cravings. My moods have been even, no pms and even somehow don’t test anemic either. Don’t know if it was the water intake or what but my thyroid also leveled out. My long hair isnt shedding nearly as much and my nails are so much healthier. I wish I’d taken a before picture but eager to see what another 2 weeks does!!! My phlebotomist I normally get when i have blood work done even benefited because my blood draw was so much easier for him!

    Just do it everyone! Something is better than nothing and know that it takes time, there’s no immediate result! Good luck & God bless!

    Please be careful when adding acidic fruits or sugar to your water when drinking this much and this frequently. As a dental assistant of many years I can tell you that exposing your teeth to lemon/lime water or water with any sugar added so frequently is a recipe for cavities. Pure water/green tea is great for your health and teeth but when you start adding fruits/acids/sugars to it and drink sips every few minutes to every few hours it will start to break down your teeth. The more you know!! =)

    I am a male and was 56lbs over weight. I was developing heart problems and signs of diabetes. My legs were so swollen I could barely get my shoes on. I began drinking a gallon of water a day and have lost 31lbs in just 5 weeks. I rarely drink coffee anymore ( from 6 cups a day). The only draw back is I always have to pee!

    Just this past Saturday I thought about drinking a gallon of water. It was hard. 9 years ago while I was pregnant with my second child I was told to drink two gallons. I only made it to 4 glasses. Add that with juice and milk it was impossible! I was always a skinny gal til I started having kids. Now I’m overweight 50 lbs and I don’t feel normal. So the thought of drinking a gallon of water seemed like a good start. I was red and blotchy. Always had dark circles which only makes it worse when your kids don’t help with a good nights sleep. The next day I saw the red go away. I was astonished! I did drink some sweetened coffee with it and a hot cocoa at night. But I plan on switching over to green tea anyway. I was wondering if a gallon of water was too much and looked it up. Your sight was the first one up and I read the results. Well I guess my instincts was onto something! So I guess I’ll keep at it with some excercises and see what happens. Keep on and persevere!

    I use to drink 1 coffee and creamer every morning before work. And grab 2 sodas for the day. I stopped drinking soda no coffee in the morning all water maybe a glass of 2% milk in the day.
    I noticed I wasn’t seeing any difference on the scales tell about the 3rd week of doing this. I weighed myself and lost about 10 pounds. Then the 4th week 8 more pounds. I’m not seeing any difference in myself. Besides on the scales. But I am making way smarter eating habits over the last couple weeks. So I’ll continue drinking nothing but water and see what this food diet will do for me.

    This so funny! I was just asking my husband if I drink to much water daily and then looked it up and found this site! I literally consume 160 ounces of water a day! Two cups of coffee in the Morningside big and that’s it! NEVER anything else but WATER! And if you don’t like water it’s cause you’re not drinking GOOD WATER!     I’ve found that drinking water with crushed ice makes it more enjoyable for me.. try not to do too much because it can be harmful on your teeth when you chomp ice on the reg..i’m anemic so this is just from life experience lol.

    Perhaps a suggestion that should have been made is to ease into a gallon a day, instead of forcing such a drastic change all at once.

    Also, I only drink ICE WATER. Room temperature water is unsatisfying, but cold water is easy to dri k. My 20 oz. Contigo bottle is my constant companion. Get yourself a 1 gallon bottle of water, and when you empty it simply refill it with filtered water and use it to measure your intake. Take a lemon, slice it up and put it in your water.

    I did the 30day water challenge and my dingdong grew 20 inches longer! I can’t freaking believe it. I advise all men to start this challenge if they want to add in 20 extra inches to their dingaling:)

    May I suggest adding some flavored BCAA’s (branch chained amino acids) in your gallon of water. I use Physx mixed berry BCAA powder and it makes my water easier to drink and it provides many other benefits such as reducing muscle fatigue, speeding up muscle recovery, and leaving me feeling more hydrated and energized. Feel free to do some more research on it. I highly recommend it! 🙂
